The Waterproof 24V 400W Power Supply is a high-power GXtronic transformer with dual output and an IP68 sealed enclosure, for powering 24V LED strips and fixtures outdoors, in damp areas or anywhere the unit is exposed.

It delivers 400W at 24V DC (16.5 A) from a 220-240V AC input at 50/60 Hz, with a power factor of 0.95 and 6 kV surge protection. Its 265×70×32 mm aluminium housing dissipates heat and allows continuous 24/7 operation.

Frequently asked questions about the 24V 400W IP68 power supply

How many metres of LED strip can it power? Leave a 20 % margin over the nominal power, around 320 W of actual load. That is roughly 32 metres of a 10 W/m strip or 21 metres of a 15 W/m strip.

Can it be installed outdoors? Yes. The IP68 rating makes it suitable for outdoor use, splashes and permanent humidity. For prolonged immersion, check the intended depth and working time first.

Is it dimmable? No. It is a constant voltage power supply with no dimming input. To dim the light, fit a 24V DC dimmer between the power supply and the LED strip.
