Frequently asked questions about single-phase track accessories

How many metres of track can I connect in series?

Up to around eight metres on a single supply, if the total power does not exceed the circuit load. Over a longer run it is worth adding a second feed connector.

Are type I L T connectors universal for every track?

They fit single-phase profiles of the same two pole format. Compatibility with the brand of track spotlights is worth checking, because some manufacturers use a section of their own.

Can I hang the LED track from the ceiling with a suspension kit?

Yes. The kit carries one metre of steel cable and holds the weight of the profile with its spotlights. It fixes to the slab and lowers the luminaire.

What length of track do I need for my shop?

As a guide, one metre of track for every three or four 30 W spotlights. In a 60 square metre shop six metres over two lines is enough.

Are GU10 track spotlights compatible with the reinforced track?

Yes, the adapter is the standard single-phase two pole one. The GU10 lampholder takes bulbs of up to 10 W.
